Gnostic Church
The word church comes from O.E. cirice "church," from W.Gmc. *kirika, from Gk. kyriake (oikia) "Lord's (house)," from kyrios "ruler, lord." It is also used in the Bible in place of the Greek ἐκκλησία, ekklēsia, the basis of congregation or gathering.
The light of spiritual wisdom (gnosis) descends into the world from the superior worlds. The vehicle of that light is the gathering of illuminated beings who seek only to deliver that light to those in the worlds below.

9: Sacrament of Extreme Unction
The sacrament of extreme unction is the final of the primary sacraments of the Gnostic Church. In that sense, it is the culmination of the previous sacraments. It is built upon all of the previous sacraments, sacred rituals, sacred acts. To understand extreme unction in its true application, in the esoteric sense, in the depth, we have to recall the very purpose of Gnosis, or in Hebrew, Daath: knowledge. In regard to the present time, the Gnostic Church is not just another church or a newly invented religious ideal. It is the church of Christ, the church preached by Jesus, the divine Rabbi of Galilee, with all of its sacred initiatic mysteries.
