Astral Projection

Astral Projection

The word Astral is dervied from astralis, from L. astrum "star," from Gk. astron. meaning “pertaining to or proceeding from the stars.” In the practical spirituality, Astral refers to the emotional aspect of the fifth dimension, which in Kabbalah is called Hod. Every night when our physical body rests, our consciousness enters into the Astral dimension, where we experience what we call "dreams." To enter into that world with an awakened awareness is to consciously project our Astral body.

Projection of the Theurgist The Theurgist has to acquire a practical, infallible capacity to consciously project himself in the Astral Body. This capacity must be established as a habit that can be exercised voluntarily at any given moment and under any circumstance; it does not matter if one is alone or before witnesses. Otherwise, one is not a Theurgist. Now, the disciples will learn numerous clues in order to acquire this admirable and precious capacity. First Clue The disciple must enter into a slumber state while vocalizing the mantra FARAON, which must be chanted in three syllables, as follows: FFFFFAAAA... RRRRAAAA… OOOOONNNN... The vocalization of the letter R has already been explained. The disciple must lie down (horizontally), facing up. Without rigidity, the disciple must extend his arms to either side of his body and place the palms of the hands on the surface of the bed. The knees must be bent, and t...

1. What is an Astral Projection? Samael Aun Weor: Do you really not know what an Astral Projection is? Young lady, I understand very well that your question is sincere. Listen: Astral Projection is an extremely simple and easy natural phenomenon like eating and drinking, etc. It is clear that when the physical body becomes slumbered, the soul then leaves it and travels everywhere. When returning, when re-entering into its body again, the soul then often remembers the places where it was, the people with whom it spoke, etc.; usually people describe this phenomenon as dreams, yet indeed this is an astral projection. 2. Can this phenomenon be performed only in dreams or can it also be done by will? Samael Aun Weor: In either case, the slumber state is necessary in order for one to be able to astral project, even by will. 3. Is Astral Projection dangerous? Samael Aun...

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven... - St. Paul, 2 Corinthians 12:2 This is a free online course providing complete practical guidance regarding the ancient universal knowledge of awakening in the Internal Worlds, otherwise known as lucid dreaming, astral projection, astral travel, or out-of-body experiences (OBEs). This course is founded upon the tradition established by Samael Aun Weor and is as such Gnostic: Gnosis is a Greek word which refers to knowledge that one acquires through one's own experience, as opposed to knowledge we have heard or been told. "Gnosis" is the name of a timeless and universal teaching that has been present in many times and many places around the world, appearing with different names and faces, but always teaching the exact science to awaken the consciousness and walk on the Path...

The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word yug, which means "union." So the ancient and universal knowledge of Dream Yoga teaches us how to unite our consciousness with God through dreams, by awakening our consciousness through the study of our dreams. The first step in Dream Yoga is to learn how to be here and now, to learn how to live the philosophy of momentariness, because it is not possible to study our dreams if our consciousness is asleep. Our consciousness has to be attentive in order to study our dreams. To be awake is to be attentive from moment to moment; attentive of oneself. "Oneself" is not the physical body. Oneself is within the physical body. However, we have to observe our physical body. Within the physical body we have different centers through which what we call a "dream" is always acting. Our consciousness is like the light of a flashlight; we must learn how to direct the light inwardly in order to learn about our dreams. What is a dream? A...

Firstly, let us remember that the Path of Self Realization is the path for our consciousness to become united to God. Do not forget that you are here seated on this chair and in this room before your computer. We need to exercise our consciousness. It is not good to place the consciousness outside of our breathing-space because we need to be awake. We need to be here and now. Remember your true Self with your consciousness that vibrates in the pineal gland in the middle of your brain, the seat of the Atom of the Holy Spirit, the seat of our soul. So we need to be here and now, inside of our physical body, paying attention to every detail of this lecture to understand and comprehend with the consciousness. Do not let your mind drive you outside of your breathing-space. Remember that you are here and now and use your imagination in order to comprehend. Do the will of your God; he is the only Law. We have to learn how to do the will of God. In order...

Gnostic students must learn to differentiate between dreams and visions. To dream is one thing and to have visions is another. A truly "awakened" Gnostic cannot dream. Only those who have the consciousness asleep live dreaming. The worst type of dreamer is the sexual dreamer. Those who live dreaming of carnal passions stupidly waste their creative energy in the satisfaction of their fantastic pleasures. Ordinarily, these people do not progress in their business. They fail in every sense. They end up in misery. When we look at a pornographic image, it strikes the senses and then passes to the mind. The psychological "I" intervenes in these affairs by stealing the erotic image in order to reproduce it in the mental plane. Thus, in the world of the mind, that image is transformed into a living effigy. During sleep the dreamer fornicates with that living effigy which, like an erotic demon, tempts the dreamer for the satisfaction of the lust. The outcome is wet dreams with all their...

Unquestionably, the most important thing in life is the realization of the inner Being. Once, I interrogated my Divine Mother Kundalini, as follows: “How is it that the path that leads to the resurrection is extremely long?” She answered me, “It is not that the path is too long; rather, the work with the philosophical stone is very hard: it must be worked, chiseled. It is necessary to give the brute stone a perfectly cubic shape.” Our motto is Thelema, meaning “willpower.” We must begin by awakening the consciousness. Obviously, all human beings are asleep, and in order to see the path it is necessary to be awakened; thus, what is essential is to awaken here and now. Unfortunately, people sleep; it seems incredible, but this is how it is. We wander in the streets with the consciousness asleep; we are in our house, in our job, in the body shop, in the office, etc., with the consciousness profoundly asleep.  We drive our car and we go to the factory with the consciousness...
